Archer Ikon
Klon variant with lower mids and smoother compression for a more refined, less raw character.
J. Rockett developed the Archer Ikon as a variant on their acclaimed Archer Klon-style overdrive. While the standard Archer emphasizes upper mids and raw openness, the Ikon shifts to lower mid grunt with smoother, slightly more compressed character. The differences are subtle but meaningful. The Ikon sounds more refined and polished where the standard Archer has more edge and bite. Both capture the Klon's essential character, but suit different playing contexts and amp combinations. Output, Treble, and Gain provide the standard Klon control set. The Ikon uses germanium diodes like the original Centaur. Buffered bypass matches the original design philosophy.
