Troika
Jack White's horse-powered delay. Studio-grade with XLR and 1/4" inputs, slider controls, featured on No Name album.
JHS Pedals and Jack White's Third Man Hardware collaborated on the Troika Delay, a multi-purpose studio-grade delay designed for microphones, guitars, or any instrument. The pedal appeared extensively on White's No Name album and has become essential to his live rig since the prototype arrived.
The name references a Russian sleigh pulled by three horses—hence "horse-powered." The circuit features both XLR and 1/4" inputs with dedicated transformers, making it viable for studio tracking as well as stage use. This flexibility reflects White's genre-crossing approach to recording.
Three slider controls manipulate Repeats, Volume, and Distance (delay time). The pro-audio design quality matches White's demanding standards. Available in signature black or yellow Third Man colorways at $349.
