3 Series Rotary Chorus

JHS built the 3 Series Rotary Chorus to simulate Leslie rotating speakers—the distinctive Hammond organ sound that crossed into rock, blues, and alternative music. The rotating speaker cabinet creates Doppler shift as the speakers spin, producing that warbling, three-dimensional chorus effect.

Three knobs control speed, depth, and level. The toggle likely switches between slow and fast rotor speeds, mimicking the Leslie's two-speed motor. The effect works equally well on guitar, making single notes sound huge and chords shimmer with movement.

At 50mA, it's the most efficient modulation pedal in the 3 Series line. Built in Kansas City. Classic rotary tones without the 100-pound speaker cabinet.
