3 Series Screamer

JHS built the 3 Series Screamer around what they call the Strong Mod—their take on tweaking the classic Tube Screamer circuit for modern players. The modifications add clean headroom, making it more effective as a transparent boost while retaining the iconic mid-focused overdrive character.

The circuit balances frequency response better than stock Tube Screamers, avoiding the nasal mid-spike that can make standard versions hard to dial in. Drive, Tone, and Level controls follow the traditional layout, while the toggle adds extra voicing options. JHS claims this might be "the most well-balanced Tube Screamer on earth."
