JHS's Legends Of Fuzz series pays tribute to circuits that shaped guitar history, and the Bender tackles the 1973 MKIII Tone Bender from Sola Sound. Gary Hurst invented the original Tonebender at Macari's Musical Exchange in London back in April 1965, creating a raw, untamed fuzz that defined the city's rock scene. This replica captures that vintage Sola Sound character with three controls for Volume, Tone, and Attack, plus a switchable JHS mode that adds extra gain and midrange boost. It's the kind of fuzz that remembers when London was the center of the guitar universe.
