Milkman

JHS partnered with Tim Marcus of Milkman Sound to create the Milkman, a purpose-built pedal for slide, country, rockabilly, and Americana players who need both slap delay and clean boost in one compact enclosure. The collaboration merged Marcus's understanding of vintage amp voicing with Scott's circuit design.

The delay section runs from 0ms—creating a doubled effect—to 250ms for spacious echo. Slap sets the timing, Mix controls echo volume, Repeat adjusts regeneration up to roughly 4.5 repeats, and EQ shapes the delay tone from dark ambience to bright clarity. The boost side delivers fully clean amplification, pushing amps into natural breakup or functioning as an always-on preamp. Both effects operate independently with dedicated footswitches.
