Tidewater

JHS built the Tidewater to recreate the beloved amp tremolo found in classic Fender Blackface and Vox designs, capturing the warmth and character you'd only expect from vintage tube circuits. The pedal functions as warm preamp boost when the Mix knob is fully down, adding utility beyond just modulation.

Volume provides adjustable unity gain with boost capability. Mix controls tremolo depth—fully counterclockwise disables the effect entirely for pure boost operation. Speed adjusts tremolo rate with LED indicator synced to the modulation. Three internal dip switches on the PCB's rear modify speed range: down position enables faster speeds, up position provides slower, more subtle modulation.

The circuit delivers authentic amplitude modulation comparable to vintage tube amp tremolo. At 3mA draw, it's one of the most efficient pedals in the catalog. Measures 3.6" × 1.5" × 1". Compact tremolo with amp-like soul.
