Katastrophe
Disaster fuzz from JPTR. High-gain chaos designed to sound like amplifier destruction in the best way.
JPTR FX named it Katastrophe because that's what it sounds like—controlled sonic disaster. This high-gain fuzz delivers the sound of speakers shredding and amplifiers dying, channeled into something musically useful. The circuit produces aggressive, gnarly fuzz that's deliberately "old-school and modern at the same time." It sounds great loud as hell, which is pretty much the only way JPTR pedals are meant to be played. Gain and output controls shape the destruction. The industrial aesthetic—scratched enclosures, no-nonsense layout—signals what you're getting: a pedal
