The FVD is a handmade RAT-style distortion from Chicago with Filter, Volume, and Drive controls. The circuit ranges from low-gain boosts to gnarly shoegaze territory. The secret weapon is the clipping toggle switch: silicon diode clipping on one side, germanium diode clipping on the other, each with a distinct sonic character.

The Filter knob sweeps from bright, cutting rock tones to dark, fuzzy drones. Top-mounted jacks keep the pedalboard footprint compact. Enclosure measures 4.67 x 3.68 x 1.18 inches.
