The Pre is a compact, always-on preamp based on the legendary Echoplex circuit. Designed without a footswitch to indicate it should remain engaged at all times, it adds the coveted Echoplex coloration to any signal chain. An internal charge pump doubles the input voltage for increased headroom and dynamic response.

A two-position switch selects between dark and bright voicings, while a single knob controls saturation from subtle warmth to driven grit. The Pre succeeds Land Devices' discontinued EP-5, offering the same essential circuit in a smaller, more pedalboard-friendly format.
