Analog noise gate with sidechain key input for external triggering. Single Threshold knob, 3-way Response switch.
The Key and the Gate is a fully analog noise gate from Lichtlaerm Audio, using an envelope-follower circuit for transparent gating.
Single Threshold control adjusts the dB level at which the gate engages. Three-way Response toggle sets attack and decay behavior. Standard mode gates based on the input signal level.
Keyed mode uses the sidechain Key In/Key Out jacks for external triggering — inject an LFO for rhythmic gating effects or use studio-style sidechaining. True bypass via SmartRelay switching. 9V DC center-negative. Handmade in Berlin.
