The Blueberry Bass Overdrive applies Mad Professor's expertise to bass guitar specifically. BJF designed the circuit to add grit and harmonic content while preserving the low-end punch that bassists need.

Unlike guitar overdrives that often thin out bass frequencies, the Blueberry maintains fundamental weight even at higher gain settings. The voicing accounts for extended-range basses, handling five-string low B without flubbing.

Controls let bassists dial in everything from subtle tube-like warmth to aggressive driven tones. The circuit responds to playing dynamics, cleaning up with lighter touch. True bypass ensures clean signal when bypassed.
