Screws is an octave fuzz with ever-present upper octave, using an op-amp blown way beyond its limits for aggressive saturation. TONE toggle controls what frequencies flow into the octave section: up position passes full frequency range, middle emphasizes high-end, and down provides midrange boost. Two additional knobs shape gain and output. Standard 9V center-negative with top-mounted jacks. The blown op-amp approach creates harsher, more aggressive octave-up character than typical octave fuzzes, suitable for cutting leads and aggressive riffs where subtlety is unwanted.
