Extra Special

The Extra Special takes the DMBL concept and pushes it into medium-to-high gain territory. Inspired by legendary Dumble amplifiers, this pedal excels at the higher-gain tones those amps are famous for while maintaining a nice range of usable sounds from clean to mean. Four controls include Volume, Gain, Tone, and Accent (functions as a presence or contour control for shaping your mid/high frequencies). The 2-way toggle selects between Jazz voicing (up position, cuts high frequencies) and Rock character (down position) for two distinct tonal profiles. Running on ~11mA from 9V center-negative power or 9V battery, the Extra Special delivers Dumble-inspired high-gain tones in a 4.8" × 2.62" × 1.55" die-cast aluminum enclosure. True bypass switching.
