Sacred Cow

The Sacred Cow is Mojo Hand's playful nod to the legendary and expensive gold standard overdrive that has become near-mythological. They created an accessible, pedalboard-friendly version with added flexibility while remaining tonally faithful to the original.

Gain control blends clean boost with overdrive, Tone adjusts high-frequency levels, and a 2-way toggle selects standard voicing (left) versus fat mode with extra bass (right). Features internal charge pump for additional headroom and symmetrical germanium clipping. DO NOT EXCEED 9V power.

Running on ~26mA from 9V center-negative power or 9V battery, the Sacred Cow delivers the drive and character you'd expect from the gold standard—ranging from slightly boosted clean to nice gain with bite. 4.8" × 2.62" × 1.55" enclosure. True bypass. Used by Richard Fortus (Guns N' Roses).
