Analog Tremolo
Bias tremolo with a secret weapon: Robot mode cranks the LFO to formant-talk territory.
The Analog Tremolo is a VCA-based bias tremolo with four waveforms—Triangle, Square, Sine, and Robot. The first three do what you expect. Robot mode is why people buy this pedal: it disables the Rate knob and pushes the LFO to its physical maximum, producing formant-like robot-talk modulation that sounds like nothing else in the tremolo world. The Intense control tames it from barely audible to full-power stutter.
The VCA engine delivers 100% pure-analog modulation. Intensity ranges from 0% (functioning as a clean boost with the Output knob) all the way to -100dB full chop. Four controls: Intense (depth), Output (volume), Rate (speed—wide range), and Waveform (cycle through the four shapes). Guitar Pedal X called it a pedal that "could easily be someone's signature tremolo."
True bypass. 9VDC center-negative, <30mA. Handmade in Portland, Oregon.
