DoomStick II
One-knob fuzz built for doom. No gate, no mercy, just a wall of sludge from 3mA of silicon.
The DoomStick II is a compact single-knob fuzz that strips the original DoomStick down to pure aggression. The gate from version one is gone, replaced by a re-voiced circuit optimized for a monstrous, unrelenting wall of fuzz. One knob dials from thick sludge to sonic inferno—highs sizzle, mids bark, lows rumble.
Input impedance ~100KΩ, output impedance <25KΩ. The low input impedance interacts heavily with guitar volume and pickups, giving it that classic fuzz-at-the-front-of-the-chain behavior. Analog circuit drawing under 3mA—one of the most power-efficient pedals Mr. Black makes.
True bypass. 9VDC (2.1mm center-negative adapter or 9V battery), <3mA. 2.65"W x 4.4"L x 1.9"H. Handmade in Portland, Oregon.
