High-Five
Play one note, get a full power chord. Pitch-shifts your fifth and octave in real time.
The High-Five turns single notes into instant power chords through pitch transposition. Three knobs control the output level of your dry signal, octave (switchable between one above or one below via knob direction), and natural fifth (five notes above or four below). Each voice ranges from silence to +3dB, with a subtle flutter that recreates the natural resonance and intermodulation of a real power chord.
Originally released as a limited Black LTD. run of 53 units, the circuit was later made available in standard production. Output levels, direction of transposition, and blend are all continuously variable—no preset modes or digital stepping. The pedal responds polyphonically and tracks cleanly across the fretboard.
True bypass. 9VDC (battery or adapter), approximately 59mA. Hand-built in Portland, Oregon. Jack Deville original design.
