The Mini Vintage Chorus puts Mr. Black's CE-1-chasing BBD circuit into an enclosure under two inches wide. The full-size Vintage Ensemble built the company's reputation on this sound—the original 1976 Boss CE-1 Chorus Ensemble's dimensional shimmer and true pitch vibrato. The mini version runs the same analog chorus and vibrato tones in a fraction of the footprint.
Three controls: Mix (full dry to 100% wet—at full wet you get pure pitch vibrato, the CE-1's other personality most clones forget), Width (oscillator sweep range), and Rate (speed). BBD-style circuit with the characteristic warm, slightly dark modulation that digital choruses never quite nail.
True bypass. 9VDC center-negative, <60mA. Input impedance ~500KΩ. Handmade in Portland, Oregon.
