Shepard's End Sub-Zero
Subtractive through-zero flanger. The Shepard's End voiced for hollow, tubular, sucking-in tones.
The Shepard's End Sub-Zero is a barber-pole through-zero flanger that emphasizes subtractive flanging—the hollow, tubular, sucking-into-itself character that sits opposite the standard Shepard's End's swishy, phaser-like default voicing. Both pedals share the same endless rising/falling cycle with no beginning or end point.
Controls: Wave (direction of the barber-pole sweep—up or down, with zero-point at center), Regen (positive settings produce phaser-like swish, negative settings create the Sub-Zero's signature hollow tube effect), and Speed (wide range from slow drift to fast wobble). The through-zero flanging passes continuously through the zero-point for that jet-engine tape-flange effect.
True bypass. 9VDC center-negative, <60mA. Handmade in Portland, Oregon.
