Brown Acid Fuzz
Dunlop/Way Huge collaboration fuzz with wild octave-up overtones and sustain.
The Brown Acid Fuzz emerged from Dunlop's collaboration with Way Huge designer Jeorge Tripps. The circuit creates wild, psychedelic fuzz with pronounced octave-up overtones and seemingly endless sustain. Two controls: Fuzz sets saturation level, Level adjusts output volume. The simplicity belies the complexity of the tones. The octave overtones emerge naturally from the circuit design rather than from a dedicated octave generator. The voicing targets acid rock and psychedelic styles, where thick fuzz and wailing overtones define the sound. Single notes bloom into harmonic-rich sustain while chords produce complex, swirling textures. True bypass switching. Compact enclosure fits tight pedalboards.
