CAE Boost/Overdrive

The CAE Boost/Overdrive resulted from MXR's collaboration with Bob Bradshaw's Custom Audio Electronics. The circuit provides two cascading stages: clean boost feeding into overdrive. Gain controls the boost amount, Drive sets overdrive saturation, Volume handles output level. The cascading design means you can use each stage independently or together for cumulative gain. Bob Bradshaw's custom rig expertise informed the design. The clean boost stage provides transparent level increase; the overdrive stage adds warm saturation. Stacking them creates higher-gain sounds with clarity. True bypass switching. Standard 9V power.
