EVH 117 Flanger

The EVH 117 Flanger recreates the vintage MXR 117 flanger circuit that Eddie Van Halen used throughout his career. The jet-plane sweeps on early Van Halen records came from the original 117 unit. Four controls: Manual, Width, Speed, and Regen match the original 117 layout. The EVH button recalls Eddie's settings instantly. The bucket-brigade circuit creates warm, analog flanging with the imperfections that add character. Eddie used the 117 for dramatic whooshing effects on "Unchained" and "And The Cradle Will Rock." The distinctive sweep became part of Van Halen's sonic signature alongside his Phase 90 and Flanger effects. True bypass switching. Striped enclosure matches EVH aesthetic.
