The EVH Phase 90 is Eddie Van Halen's signature version, featuring his iconic Frankenstein guitar's red, white, and black stripes. The Script switch toggles between vintage Script Logo warmth and modern Block Logo intensity.
Running 10dB cleaner than standard Phase 90s, the EVH version offers enhanced clarity and subtlety. Eddie used the original Phase 90 on Van Halen's first album, creating the swooshing textures on "Eruption," "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love," and "Atomic Punk."
Developed in collaboration between Eddie and Dunlop, this represents the exact phaser tones he sought. The Script mode delivers warmer, more transparent phasing; Block mode provides aggressive, in-your-face sweep.
