The TRS Split/Tap separates TRS signals into tip and ring components, useful when pedals share tap and expression on a single TRS jack. The splitter lets you connect both functions with separate cables.
TRS input splits to two outputs: one for tip signal, one for ring signal. Use this when you need both tap tempo and expression control connected to a pedal with a single combo jack.
Some pedals combine tap tempo and expression input on one TRS jack to save space. The Split/Tap provides the interface to connect both simultaneously using separate footswitch and expression pedal.
