Air Lane Drive

A collaboration between Mythos Pedals and Novo Guitars, the Air Lane Drive packs two distinct overdrive voices into one enclosure. Each side—Suite 8 and Suite 9—features its own footswitch and gain control with internal trim pots for master volume.

Suite 8 (the Novo side) delivers medium-gain boost with full bass response and present treble, using asymmetrical clipping for smooth, amp-like compression. Suite 9 (the Mythos side) offers a more aggressive character with slight bass cut and smoother top end, employing symmetrical clipping with an NOS germanium diode.

Both circuits are based on single-transistor topology with hard clipping diode arrangements that stack beautifully. The pedal draws approximately 20mA and requires standard 9V DC power (no battery operation). Released March 2022 in collaboration with two Nashville builders known for premium craftsmanship.
