Big Puft

Mythos reimagines the classic BMP-style fuzz circuit with the Big Puft Fuzz Device, emphasizing mid-range frequencies for better cut and control. The Keymaster-inspired PCB design brings the circuit into modern context while maintaining the essential character that made the original legendary.

Three controls handle the essentials: Volume for output level, Tone for tonal shaping, and Sustain for gain adjustment. The modified tone stack provides more usable range across all settings—from mellow distortion through annihilating fuzz, the mids stay present enough to cut through any mix.

Housed in a custom bent metal enclosure with quality top-mount panel jacks, the Big Puft measures approximately 4.8" L × 3.7" W × 2.6" H. True bypass switching and mono in/out configuration keep it simple. Draws less than 10mA. Available in multiple colorways including Original, NY, Inverse, Olive, Yellow, and Rams editions.
