The Victor

Released for Black Friday 2025, The Victor pays tribute to the classic hard-clipping distortion that defined alternative rock. Through-hole construction features WIMA caps, OP07CP op-amp chip, and NOS carbon comp resistors on a purple circuit board—premium components elevating the RAT platform.

Mythos improved the Filter and Distortion controls with better range and taper compared to vintage units. The low end received a slight boost while maximum distortion was reduced for more responsive, dynamic performance. Three knobs handle Volume, Filter, and Distortion with familiar RAT-style operation.

Custom bent metal enclosure (approximately 4.8" L × 3.7" W × 2.6" H) with top-mount panel jacks and true bypass switching. Limited release pedal built to deliver refined RAT tones without abandoning the circuit's essential character. For players who know what the Rat should sound like and want boutique execution.
