No.1 Signature

The No.1 Signature is Nordvang's definitive take on the K-circuit. Unlike the original No.1 Overdrive (2014-2020) which tweaked the Klon topology, the Signature aims to faithfully replicate the original while adding a Pre Drive stage and switchable clipping.

The Pre Drive is a low-gain overdrive with asymmetrical soft-clipping and a mid-focused frequency response, activated via toggle switch. It cascades into the main K-circuit like stacking two overdrives. The Gain knob blends clean and driven signal when engaged. A three-position Clipping toggle selects germanium (most compression), schottky (punchy lows, less compression), or open/no diodes (maximum headroom).

Runs +9V on the buffer and overdrive, +18V/-9V on the EQ and output stage. NOS Russian D9B germanium diodes, WIMA MKP10 capacitors, Vishay resistors, Carling footswitch. Buffered relay bypass. No electrolytic capacitors in the signal path.
