Mid Air

The Mid Air is a TS-10 reimagining in Nordvang's compact 1590B3 format, built on stacked PCBs alongside an independent boost circuit. Where a stock Tube Screamer has a fixed mid-hump, the Air knob shifts that peak to higher frequencies for glassier, more open tones.

Drive, Tone, Level, and the signature Air knob control the overdrive section. A Lows toggle adds two levels of low-end boost. Internal 4-way DIP switches offer further tweaking: clean output boost, clipping diode removal (open mode), and variable symmetrical/asymmetrical clipping configurations.

The boost section runs independently with its own footswitch. Unity to 18dB of clean gain with a three-position EQ toggle (full frequency, low-mids, high-mids). Switchable buffered/true bypass with failsafe. Weighs 900g. WIMA caps, Vishay resistors, Taiway switches, Pure-Tone jacks.
