Cicada

Olinthus specializes in impossibly tiny effects pedals. The Cicada packs a complete Tube Screamer-style overdrive into what they claim is the world's smallest effects pedal at just 30mm × 45mm, weighing 30 grams.

The circuit uses a single-stage soft-clipping design with filtering before and after the gain stage, faithfully recreating the mid-range boost and touch-sensitive dynamics of the original Ibanez TS808. Input impedance sits at 500kΩ with a low 1kΩ output impedance.

Tone, Drive, and Level knobs shape the sound. The entire pedal acts as the footswitch: it's hinged at the top, and you press below the knobs to engage. A single TRRS jack handles input, output, and power via an included breakout cable with three standard 1/4" connections.
