Panda Audio created the Future Impact as the spiritual successor to the legendary (and discontinued) Akai Deep Impact bass synthesizer.
Four multi-waveform oscillators run at 512kHz (versus Deep Impact's 32kHz) for significantly clearer synthesis. Features pulse width modulation, decay envelopes, foldover distortion, and a Minimoog-style filter switchable between 12dB and 24dB per octave.
99 patches organized in 10 banks cover bass (67), guitar (9), effects (9), synth, and EWI modes. MIDI In/Out for external control. Time-based effects included.
Runs on 9V stabilized DC at 70mA (PA-9 Power-All recommended). Standard 1/4" in/out plus MIDI DIN connectors.
