Palmer Custom FX in Dallas builds the Solarist V2 as a Swiss Army Fuzz Face and Rangemaster combination with unprecedented versatility.
Fuzz section toggles between germanium GT404B, silicon NTE123, or mixed transistor pairs. Rangemaster boost switches between germanium 2N1308 or silicon BC108B. Three footswitches: Fuzz, Boost, and A/B preset toggle.
A/B switching provides two complete Input and Bias settings, effectively giving you 5 drive stages (RM, Yellow Fuzz, Red Fuzz, Yellow+RM, Red+RM). Pickup Simulator allows placement anywhere in chain.
