Stomp Classic
Discontinued strobe tuner with built-in active DI and XLR output. 0.1-cent accuracy, 25 sweetened tunings, 3-stage pad.
Peterson pioneered strobe tuning technology in 1948, and the Stomp Classic brought that precision to the pedalboard in a heavy die-cast chassis. Unlike chromatic tuners that show sharp/flat, strobe displays reveal exactly how far off pitch you are to 0.1 cents (1/1000th of a semitone), making intonation adjustments visible in real time.
The standout feature is the built-in active DI with Neutrik XLR output, protected by a metal roll cage. Three-stage attenuation pad (0/10/20dB) and selectable ground lift make it a legitimate stage DI box. Three modes: DI passes signal to both outputs, True Bypass mutes the tuner output when disengaged, and Monitor keeps the tuner active while you play. 25 sweetened tunings compensate for inherent instrument intonation issues.
Discontinued but still serviced by Peterson. 9V DC center-negative at 80mA or internal 9V battery. 6" x 3.25" x 2.75", 1.7 lbs. USB mini for Peterson Connect customization.
