Mary Cries

PRS Guitars designed the Mary Cries as an intuitive optical compressor based on the legendary LA-2A studio unit.

The circuit thickens your tone, controls signal peaks, and lengthens sustain without losing definition or clarity. Depending on settings, it works as a straightforward compressor or a clean boost.

Simple two-knob control: Output Gain and Compression. A blue LED shows when and how hard the compression is working. Through-hole mounted components for reliability. True bypass switching.
