The Northern Mauler is Glenn Fricker's signature 2-in-1 distortion combining two complete circuits. The Chainsaw circuit brings HM-2 inspired Swedish death metal frostbitten mayhem. The Amp circuit delivers REVV's high-gain tones tweaked specifically for metal.
The Blend control mixes between 100 percent Amp, 100 percent Chainsaw, or anywhere between. Bite and Growl shape the Chainsaw's treble and bass. The Amp side has full 3-band EQ plus Giv'r gain control affecting both circuits.
Inspired by the iconic chainsaw sound of Swedish death metal and American hardcore. The double-sized enclosure features semi-transparent bear artwork and Glenn Fricker's signature.
All-analog true bypass design. 20mA at 9V. Optimized for clean amps, high-gain amps, power amps, or direct to interface with IRs. Made in Canada.
