805 Overdrive

The 805 Overdrive builds on the legendary TS808 Tube Screamer circuit while extending its range significantly. Seymour Duncan kept the mid-boost character that made the original famous but added a full 3-band active EQ for precise tone shaping.

Glass diode back-to-back clipping delivers that smooth, singing overdrive character. The gain range extends from subtle 8dB boost to aggressive 36dB saturation. Bass, mid, and treble controls each offer plus or minus 11dB of cut and boost centered at musical frequencies.

The mid control peaks slightly higher than the original TS at 750Hz, giving it a bit more presence in dense mixes. Works brilliantly as a boost into a dirty amp or as your main drive sound.
