Dark Sun

The Dark Sun is Periphery guitarist Mark Holcomb's signature pedal, combining his favorite sounds from the Andromeda delay and Silver Lake reverb into one powerful unit. Released at NAMM 2019.

The delay section spans 50ms to 4.5 seconds with tap tempo, four subdivisions, reverse mode, and ping-pong stereo options. Hall reverb adds lush ambience with extensive tone shaping including saturation and chorus modulation.

A four-position routing switch lets you change the order of effects and assign them to left or right channels. Dynamic Expression automatically ducks the wet signal when you play hard, letting ambience swell during quieter passages.

Full stereo operation with 128 presets, MIDI control, and USB for updates. 150mA at 9-18V. Discontinued but highly regarded.
