The Diamondhead captures the tone and feel of a hot-rodded tube amp being pushed by a boost pedal. It recreates the guitar sounds that defined classic 70s and 80s metal and hard rock.
Three gain stages provide massive tonal range. The active 3-band EQ offers plus or minus 13dB at 80Hz bass, 800Hz mids, and 6kHz treble. The SAT switch adds 24dB of pre-gain boost based on the 805 circuit for tighter low end and more aggressive attack.
An independent clean boost footswitch delivers 0-15dB for solos. The Diamondhead also excels as a preamp into your amp's effects return or driving PowerStage power amps.
