The Dynamic Mids Enhancer is a clean guitar preamp with three active midrange contour controls — no passive tone stack, no phase shifts, and no losses. Signal peaks are multiplied for more cut, punch, and clarity rather than traditional EQ that cuts frequencies.
Fat (lower midrange gain — fattens high-bass/low-mids), Cut (1kHz "cut-through-the-mix" midrange gain), and Chime (upper midrange/presence for brightness, sparkle, and chimey attack). Virtually zero self-noise with a flat noise floor. Works at 9V but accepts 12V or 18V for more dynamic punch and headroom.
Best placed after overdrive/fuzz pedals in the chain. Works as a solo boost or tone-shaping tool that restores dynamics and detail lost in the signal chain. Not a traditional EQ — it amplifies chosen frequency ranges. Handmade in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
