Skunk
Original Skreddy fuzz design with a distinctive voicing unlike any specific classic circuit. Its own animal.
The Skunk emulates a Supro Model 1606 low-wattage tube amp being slammed by a 1960s fuzz booster. Rather than a traditional overdrive topology, it recreates the interaction between a booster pedal and a small tube combo cranked past breakup — the tone Jimmy Page captured on early Led Zeppelin recordings through his Supro 1606 (nicknamed "the skunk" for its white-striped cabinet).
Level and Drive controls keep things simple. The Drive knob actually resets the transistor's bias point, creating that spongy amp-like response. Responds dynamically to guitar volume and picking like a real tube amp being pushed to the edge.
Handmade in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. True bypass. 9V battery or standard DC adapter.
