Supa Tone

The Supa Tone is based on the 1974 Colorsound Supa Tone Bender — which despite the name is actually a Big Muff variant, not a germanium Tone Bender. Skreddy's version deletes the first set of clipping diodes from the Big Muff circuit, resulting in a bassier and rougher character than a standard Muff.

Volume, Sustain, and Tone controls plus a Guitar/Bass toggle switch. Guitar mode gives the classic 1974 midrange scoop, while Bass mode preserves all low end — unusual for a fuzz pedal and making it equally suited as a bass fuzz. The Sustain knob yields different distortion character at different settings, from hot and grinding to sustaining and fuzzy. Version 2 adds more usable low-gain settings.
