Dual Tone Bender with MK1.5 and MKII circuits. Independent footswitches for each fuzz section.
The Communication Breakdown delivers two takes on the Tone Bender circuit for Jimmy Page-inspired fuzz tones. Fuzz A recreates the rare MK1.5 with hot silicon transistors. Fuzz B captures the classic MKII with added JFET preamp for stability.
Each circuit has independent Fuzz, Bias, and Volume controls. Bias knobs vary collector voltage for tones from beefy and bold to lean and gated. Three-position Color switches adjust treble and midrange. Input switches handle gain and attenuation.
Use either fuzz independently or engage both for massive stacked tones. Internal DIP switches toggle between Bold and Comp settings on each side. True bypass switching, top-mounted jacks, hand-made in Montreal.
