The Imperial MKII recreates the sought-after JEN Jumbo Fuzz, an Italian take on the Big Muff that swapped knobs for sliders and added a germanium noise gate. SolidGoldFX updates the formula with modern reliability.
Four slider controls handle Volume, Tone, Contour (midrange frequency), and Fuzz. The JFET preamp ensures consistent performance anywhere in your signal chain. The built-in noise gate eliminates hum at high gain settings without affecting sustain.
The voicing sits in Ram's Head territory without excessive scoop. Dual LED indicators show bypass and gate status. Works equally well on guitar, bass, and synth. True bypass switching with top-mounted jacks. Hand-made in Montreal.
