The If 6 Was 9 MKII expands on the original's Fuzz Face foundation with additional controls for extended tonal range. BC183 silicon transistors deliver the balanced warmth and sustain that made the original popular.
Five control knobs now include Volts, which adjusts internal voltage from 5V to 15V. Lower settings add sag and compression while higher voltages provide extra headroom and punch. The expanded Bias range unlocks more gated and sputtery textures.
The Body toggle offers three voicings: Fat, Treble Boost, and Classic. Saturate control handles input trimming for wah compatibility. Internal voltage pump means you still power it with standard 9V. Soft-touch true bypass, hand-made in Montreal.
