Sasori

The Sasori (Japanese for scorpion) captures the Shin-ei FY-2 Companion Fuzz character with modern improvements. This 1970s Japanese circuit delivers dirty, synth-like overtones distinct from Western fuzz designs.

Fuzz, Level, and Tone controls shape the sound. Unlike typical tone knobs, this one focuses on midrange frequencies for tonal variation from dark and moody to brash and cutting. The JFET input buffer ensures consistent performance in any signal chain.

There's plenty of output on tap to push your amp's front end. The circuit works equally well on guitar, bass, and keys. True bypass switching in a compact enclosure. Hand-made in Montreal, Canada.
