The Yellow Spiral Drive is based on the DOD 250 Overdrive Pre-Amp with select alterations from former DOD designer Tom Cram. It's meant to sound like the 250 we all know and love, but MORE. A swiss-army knife of overdrive pedals.
Gain and Output are straightforward. The 6-position Girth rotary tone network retains highs while increasing low-end from controlled mix-ready lows to pant-rippling thunder. A three-way toggle selects Nanolog N2 molecular junction diodes alone, N2 plus LED, or N2 plus silicon for different clipping characters.
Wide variety of uses: always-on tone sweetener, clean or dirty boost, low to mid-gain distortion, amp input punisher. Works great with guitar or bass. True bypass, 10mA current draw. Hand-made in USA.
