The Fig Fumb—a clever anagram of its inspiration—offers a unique take on the classic Muff circuit with modernized updates and refined control. Stone Deaf has taken the beloved fuzz topology and made it far more tweakable without losing its essential character.
Parametric EQ controls and an expression pedal input transform this from a simple fuzz into a dynamic, expressive instrument. The complex interdependency of controls takes time to master, but rewards exploration with approximations of virtually every classic fuzz tone imaginable.
