Delay
High-voltage analog delay using dual MN3005 bucket brigade chips achieving up to 600ms of delay time with exceptional headroom and clarity.
The Supro 1313 Delay represents significant achievement in analog delay design, utilizing pair of new-production MN3005 bucket brigade IC chips running at high voltage to deliver sounds ranging from 20ms slapback echo up to 600ms of buttery vintage delay. Use of high-voltage MN3005 chips provides dramatically increased headroom, dynamic range, and clarity compared to standard analog delays—runs on standard 9VDC power but uses internal voltage-doubling circuitry to provide robust 15V power rails.
Control layout is comprehensive yet intuitive: TIME knob sets delay length, REPEATS controls feedback amount, LEVEL adjusts wet signal volume, and FILTER knob provides both low-pass and band-pass filtering on single control. Standout feature is Expression input, which can be assigned to control TIME, REPEATS, or LEVEL using standard TRS expression pedal, enabling dynamic delay manipulation during performance. Features soft-touch, click-free, true bypass switching and includes internally switchable Dry Kill and Trails functions.
Note that Supro Delay does not run on batteries and requires external power. Housed in Supro's custom-made anodized aluminum chassis, delivers warm, organic analog delay tones reminiscent of classic tape echo units.
