Designed by engineer Thomas Elliot, this pedal mimics circuitry of output section of 1960s Supro amplifier from end to end: unique phase inverter design, Class A power amp section, and critically, actual output transformer to achieve magnetic saturation characteristic of historic Supro tube amps. This comprehensive approach captures true essence of vintage Supro overdrive, as real tone of these legendary amps comes from power amp and transformer interaction. Features Volume, Gain, and Tone controls, plus toggle switch selecting between different windings of custom, multi-tapped output transformer—choose BOLD for high-headroom clarity or RICH for more compressed, high-gain tones with additional harmonic saturation. Excels at producing everything from vintage breakup to full-throttle distortion while maintaining touch-sensitive dynamics and harmonic complexity of real tube amplifier. TRS expression pedal port allows real-time control of Gain parameter.
